22 Sep 49 - Inducted into NKA and assigned to 1st Sqd, 2nd Plat, Bridge Construction Co, Eng Bn, 2nd Div at HAMHUNG (咸興), KOREA.
10 Jun 50 - Departed HAMHUNG for HWACH’ON (華川).
22 Jun 50 - Arrived HWACH’ON.
25 Jun 50 - Departed HWACH’ON for CH’UNCH’ON (春川). Arrived CH’UNCH’ON.
28 Jun 50 - Departed CH’UNCH’ON in the morning and arrived P’ALTANG (八堂) at night by truck.
28 Jun 50 - 8 Jul 50 - Joined 2nd Div crossing HAN River (漢江).
8 Jul 50 - Left for CH’ONGJU (淸州) by truck.
10 Jul 50 - Arrived CH’ONGJU.
10 Jul 50 - 12 Aug 50 - Stayed at CH’ONGJU.
12 Aug 50 - Left CH’ONGJU for KUMCH’ON (金泉). En route, repaired roads.
28 Aug 50 - Arrived KUMCH’ON and left KUMCH’ON for SINBAN-NI (新反里).
10 Sep 50 - Arrived SINBAN-NI.
10 Sep 50 - 15 Sep 50 - Eng Bn worked on construction of rafts.
15 Sep 50 - 2nd Div got orders to attack other bank of NAKTONG River (洛東江) at 1930 hrs.
18 Sep 50 - 5 Oct 50 - Fought at CH’ANGNYONG (昌寧).
5 Oct 50 - Started retreating to NAMHUNG-DONG (南興洞). Over 50% of 2nd Div became casualties in the retreat.
12 Dec 50 - Arrived NAMHUNG-DONG. Here unit received clothing and ammunition, but no replacements.
16 Dec 50 - Departed NAMHUNG-DONG.
13 Jan 51 - Arrived CH’UKNYONG (竹嶺).
15 Jan 51 - PW was captured.

Aug 49, 17th Regt replaced 5th Regt. (17th Regt consisted of men enlisting in 49.)
