Subject was separated from his unit at TAEGONG-NI CS 6987 11 Jan 51. Hid in this vicinity until on or about 17 Jan 51. Departed TAEGONG-NI for YOJU via PANGIL-NI (phonetic), SULU-CHIL (phonetic), NONGDAL-CHI (phonetic) and YANGPYONG CS 6749. Enroute observed small groups of CCF and NK troops (loc & time unk) totaling 5-600 heading N. No tanks, vehicles or heavy weapons observed. Enroute for YANGPYONG on or about 240400 Jan 51 observed approx 200 CCF troops heading N to NONGDAL-CHI (16 km N of YOJU) on main road. Approx 100 were mounted on horses. Observed no tanks, heavy weapons or vehicles. To YOJU observed nothing further. Picked up vic YOJU on 270900 Jan 51 by elements of 21st RCT.
No knowledge of HAN River crossings or bridge building equipments.
