a. Chronology:
10 Jul 50: Inducted into the NKA, assigned to the Home Dept, Med Plat of the 154th Bn, 105th Regt, at P’YONGYANG.
15 Jul 50: Departed P’YONGYANG by train for SUWON. Rested 2 days in SEOUL.
20 Jul 50: Departed SUWON on foot.
10 Aug 50: Arrived CHONJU.
28 Sep 50: Received orders to retreat and arrived YANGGU (楊口) on foot. Reassigned to the Med Unit (Code: CHONGCH’ON River (淸川江) or the Ind Regt, II Corps. Promoted to Sr Sgt.
10 Dec 50: Departed YANGGU (楊口) and recrossed the 38th.
10 Jan 51: Arrived P’YONGCHANG (平昌).
15 Jan 51: Arrived TUNNAE (屯內) and rested for about 10 days.
3 Feb 51: Arrived ANHUNG (安興).
5 Feb 51: Captured by the ROK 27th Regt, 5th Div.

c. Unit History:
On the 28 Sep 50, the Ind Regt of the II Corps was organized at YANGGU. Lt now consists of 2 inf bn plus a reconn plat, comm plat, supply plat and med plat.

When last observed the Ind Regt was moving from ANHUNG (安興) to P’YONGCHANG (平昌).
h. Intentions:
Objective was to capture YONGWOL (寧越).
i. Morale:
Low: Lack of supplies, cold weather and lack of ammo.
j. Replacements:
No replacements were received after 28 Sep 50.
k. Evacuation and Treatment of wounded:
Bn aid stations were located approx 300 m behind the lines. Light wounds were treated, while the seriously wounded were evacuated to Div Field Hospitals by ox carts.
l. Supply:
Each man carried 4 to 5 days ration and 80 rd of ammo for small arms.

Epidemics:
During the period 10 Jan 51 to 10 Feb 51, three men of the Ind Regt died of typhus. 10 others had the disease.
