020800 Jan 51 the above-mentioned were captured by CCF troops at CHIAM-NI CT 7804. Immediately taken to PWE located at CHIAM-NI. At this PWE observed two companies of CCF troops and one NK interpreter. Total of 40 ROK PsW at this enclosure. No US PW observed. 031000 Jan all wounded ROKs numbering approx 12 were released. All able-bodied PsW were evacuated to rear (location u/k). Arrived MOKTONG-NI CS 7394 on 031700 Jan 51. Enroute observed 7 to 8 CCF troops armed with rifles. Stayed at this location overnight. Departed 040800 Jan and arrived TAEGONG-NI CS 7988 041700 Jan 51. Enroute observed one company of CCF Cav troops (100 horses) 21/2 miles S of MOKTONG-NI 041400 Jan 51. At TAEGONG-NI observed one company strength of CCF troops located in surrounding hills. Departed TAEGONG-NI 050800 Jan 51 and arrived u/k village S of TAEGONG-NI on 051700 Jan. Enroute observed one platoon strength of CCF troops. Departed u/k village 060800 Jan 51 and proceeded S following river. Recaptured by CCF troops at u/k location on 061900 Jan 51 and taken to a village believed to be CCF Bn Hqs (location u/k). At this location heard from NK interpreter that approx 400 CCF troops were there. Immediately released upon brief interrogation, 061920 Jan 51. Arrived POLWOL (Phonetic) 071000 Jan 51. At this location observed one battalion strength of CCF troops, on 071000 Jan 51. Recaptured by CCF troops and taken to CCF Bn Hqs mentioned above. Released 071400 Jan 51 and arrived PAAM-NI (phonetic) on 071600 Jan 51. No enemy troops observed enroute. Stayed at this location for two nights. Departed PAAM-NI (phonetic) 100800 Jan 51 and arrived POLEKAL (phonetic) on 101600 Jan 51. Questioned by CCF troops at this location. Approx one squad of CCF troops observed at this location. Immediately departed POLEKAL and arrived CHIPYONG-NI CS 7948 on 131700 Jan 51, via SANUM-NI CS 7763 and MUNYE-NI CS 7766. Enroute to CHIPYONG-NI heard from villager that approx 20 CCF Cav troops were heading S for CHIPYONG-NI on 121500 Jan 51. At CHIPYONG-NI observed two companies of CCF troops armed with rifles. No hvy weapons, vehicles, or tanks observed. Departed CHIPYONG-NI on 140800 Jan 51 and arrived YOJU CS 8928 on 151200 Jan 51 bypassing KOKSU-RI CS 7842. No enemy troops observed enroute. No enemy troops, hvy weapons or vehicles observed at YOJU. Picked up by elements of the 21st RCT 151700 Jan 51.
