Cooperative, memory poor. Reliability - doubtful
a. Chronology:
5 Jul 50: Conscripted into the 2nd Div as a private at WONSAN (元山), trained for a month, and then moved to SEOUL with his unit on foot.
4 Sep 50: Arrived SEOUL. A few days later, retreated from SEOUL. Before reaching KANGGYE (江界), his unit lost approx a regiment in engagements with ROK troops especially in mountain combat.
10 Nov 50: Arrived KANGGYE (江界) via YANGYANG (襄陽) and WONSAN (元山). Received replacements, and were re-equipped with Russian small arms and winter clothes. The designation of the three regiments never changed, (4th, 6th and 17th). At this time, II Corps Hqs were located there.
28 Nov 50: Moved toward the 38th parallel, no engagements.
20 Dec 50: Arrived HWACHON (華川) via WONSAN and KUMHWA (元山 金化). Two days later engaged ROK troops in the mountains 40 km S of HWACHON (華川). PW was wounded in this engagement. About 150 NKA men died, 100 men wounded.
28 Dec 50: Captured by 10th Regt ROKA vicinity of HWACHON (華川).

Each man carried 4 days rations and 200 rds of ammo for small arms. Mortar shells were transported by each man.
