PW appeared to be intelligent. His attitude appeared to be arrogant. PW appeared unable to give definite opinion on questions asked, therefore only general opinions are given. PW considered fairly reliable by interrogator.
a. No Chinese Communist Army or USSR Armed Forces south of 38° parallel. All NKPA Units south of 38° parallel believed to be combat troops, reinforcements, or replacements.
b. No opinion on possible Chinese Communist air and/or ground force units intervention against UN forces south of 38° parallel.
c. No opinion on NK Naval Forces, if any. PW thinks NK air force has been destroyed to a point beyond effective future operations south of 38° parallel against UN forces.
d. No opinion on possibility of USSR armed intervention in KOREA.
e. PW believes majority of indigenous personnel in South Korean areas retaken by UN Forces will actively assist UN Forces, however doubts whether guerrilla activity can be spread in occupied areas.
