Due to the slowness in answering questions, the impression was that he was not too intelligent. Although PW was willing and talked freely, information is limited and not considered reliable.
1400 hr 9 Mar 51, PW and 3 others were captured by 23d ROT at DS215516 when 1st Plat was overrun by UN Forces.
a. Disposition:
0900 hr 9 Mar 51, PW observed 1st Plat dug in at DS215516. However, PW believes that they were overrun by UN Forces at the time of his capture at 1400 hr 9 Mar 51. On the same date, the 6th Co was observed dug in on south slope of a hill directly north of DS215516 and 2d Bn was also observed dug in at about 4 km N of DS215516 on the north side of a hill.
As of 1400 hr 9 Mar 51 heard from Plat Ldr that 3d was on the west flank and 1st Bn was on the east flank of 2d Bn and 1st Regt and 2d Regt were taking rest at rear area.
b. Weapons:
Weapons of Plat (strength 11).
7 Russian rifles (200 rd ea), 3 SMG (200 rd ea), 1 US M-1 Rifles (50 rd) and a hand grenade to each man.
Weapons of Co: 1 HMG, 3 LMG 1000 rd each.
Weapons of Bn: 3x82mm mortars.

SO Tae She (28), Jr Lt, Plat Ldr.
PAK Che Yo (30), Sr Lt, Co CO.
d. Effect of Night Bombing:
8 Mar 51 heard from Plat Ldr that many casualties were inflicted 3d Bn of 3d Regt at 200 meters west of DS215516 by night bombing.
