There 850 men received their M1899/30 rifles and 120 rounds on 23 Aug. 24 Aug, 850 men were assigned to following regiments: 200 men to 23rd Regt, 300 men to 19th Regt, 350 men to 21st Regt in vicinity of HAJANG-DONG. PW heard that 13th Div Hqrs was situated in the vicinity. Evening of 24 Aug 50, 1st Bn advanced southeast about 2 km. PW was separated from unit after being shelled for 35 hours, captured by ROK at T'OKOK (    ) (1151-1464),

2nd Co - 150 men armed with 4 x LMGs; M1899/30 rifles. 2nd Plt - 37 men, 1 x LMG, 1st Sqd - 9 men.
Replacements: PW observed approx 1,500, unarmed replacements, at YONGGI-DONG. PW heard these replacements were from CHINNAMP'O and were to be sent to the 13th Div as replacements.
PW also observed approx 600 unarmed replacements at MUN'GYONG, date unknown. Heard these 600 men were from HOERYONG and were going to be sent to ANDONG Area as replacements.

Supplies:
Received one rice ball a day but no food was delivered after 20 Aug 50. Took rice from farmers. Ammunition and rifles were received at HAJANG-DONG, 50 rounds left.

Enemy Intentions:
Objective of the 13th Div was T’AEGU via TABU-DONG (1140-1160).
