26 Jul 50 - Conscripted at ANJU, NK, atchd to a reserve unit.
12 Oct 50 - Asgd to the 2nd Div, 6th Regt, 3rd Bn, HMG Co at ICHON, NK.
19 Jan 51 - 2nd Div arr SOBAEKSAN.
22 Jan 51 - Dep SOBAEKSAN.
7 Feb 51 - Arr vic SAEMAL.
10 Feb 51 - PW captured.

Original strength of 6th Regt, 2nd Div was approx 1,200 (Oct 50) but suffered hvy casualties in mid Jan 51 in vic of SOBAEKSAN from air attacks. However, while enroute S approx 300 troops from 50th Regt, were integrated into the 2nd Div.
c. Supply:
PW unit, while advancing south was supplied with 100 rd of ammo twice. However, dep to the front lines, troops were given battle load of only 80 rd and those who had above this number had to turn in the excess.
Food was procured from villages. Prior to dep to the front lines each was issued 15 rice cakes, as 3 days ration.
d. Sickness:
About 50-60 men in PW Regt were suffering from frostbite.
