Cooperative and answered all questions frankly but information seems very doubtful.
Not recommended for further interrogation.
Captured alone 2000 hours 6 Feb 51 while collecting communication wire. He surrendered voluntarily without exchanging fire.
7th Div, 3rd Regt, 2nd Bn strength 6 Feb 51: 7th Div had 3 rifle Regt. 3rd Regt had 3 rifle Bn. 2nd Bn had 3 rifle Co. Arty Co and Med Co were attached to the 3rd Regt. Arty Co & Med Co were attached to 1st and 2nd Regt too.

Arty Btry was attached to the 2nd Bn but did not observe any pieces or ammo.
Unit location o/a 5 Feb 51, was at OKTONG-NI. After engaging in combat for 4 hours with the 5th ROK Div., PW unit was defeated, and was forced to retreat approx 5 miles NE of OKTONG-NI. Believed that the 3rd Regt CP retreated to PUNGAM-NI (20 miles NE of OKTONG-NI). There was no special observation post for aerial attack. Whenever they observed a plane the guard would notify the closet man to him.
a. Food: Food obtained from deserted villages was insufficient.
b. Clothing: All troops in his unit wore winter uniforms.
c. Ammo: Ammo very low.
d. Contagious Diseases: PW observed 10 soldiers suffering from influenza in the 2nd Bn 18 Jan 51.
e. Morale: Morale is very low due to UN Forces daily aerial attack.
