3rd Div, Transportation Co:
The last known location (as of 24 Sep 50) of the Div Transportation Co, including motor pool and maintenance section, was 6 km W of KUMCH'ON by a bridge on the road to TAEJON. As of 12 Sep 50, before most of the equipment was destroyed in an air attack, the Co had five YAG-4 trucks, twenty GAZ-51 trucks, six US 3/4 ton trucks, four GMC trucks and five US jeeps. As of 24 Sep 50, only five YAG-4 trucks and five jeeps remained. To the best of the PW's knowledge the Div Trans Co did most major repair on trucks from Regt's and Bn's.
