2. ASSESSMENT
1st Plat was defending Hill 201. Hill was attacked 051200 by UN Forces and PW was wounded in arm. Captured 051300 by 1st Bn, 1st Marines. Not recommended for further interrogation. Cooperative, talked freely, but tactical information limited.

3. TACTICAL INFORMATION
a. Mission:
Defend present position and stop all UN advance.

c. Chronology:
April 50 - Conscripted into CCF.
15 Nov 50 - 66th Corps arrived ANTUNG, MANCHURIA. 196th Div led, followed by 197th Div and 198th Div across YALU River.
7 Feb 51- 197th Div arrived CHUNGHON.
23 Feb 51 - 197th Div arrived HONGCHON (DS 0171). Div did not engage in combat until arriving HONGCHON. Believed Div and Regt CP located vicinity of HONGCHON (DS 0171). Here 3d Bn separated from Regt and moved S.
27 Feb 51 - 3d Bn arrived Hill 246 (DS 1355), and set up CP. 8th Co and 9th Co moved further S. 7th Co was defending Hill 246 with 3d Bn Hq. 8th Co believed to be at (DS 1552).
4 Mar 51 - 1st Plat of 7th Co dispatched to defend Hill 201 (DS 1352).
5 Mar 51 - 1200 hours UN Force attacked Hill 201, and after one hour of fire fight, PW was captured by 1st Marines.
