LOCATION AND ACTIVITIES OF UNITS:PW’s company has been located on a mountain in vicinity of TABU DONG since 18 Sep 50.
Disposition of other units unknown.
PERSONAL AND UNIT HISTORY:Inducted on 8 March 50 at HWANGHAE DO.
Received training as rifleman at SINUIJU (approx 3 months).
23rd Regt, 13th Div departed at SINUIJU by train on 19 June 50.
4th Co, 1st Bn 23rd Regt remained near IMJIN River until 30 July 50 (exact location unknown).
Left IMJIN River (location unk) by foot on 6 Aug 50.
PW did not remember dates and places which the 4th Co passed, however, arrived at TABU DONG o/a 27 Aug 50.
Since 27 Aug 50, PW was with the 1st Plt irregularly because of duties as ammo bearer. After he was separated from the unit, he was captured in vicinity of TABU DONG by ROK Army on 220700 K Sep 50.

FOOD AND AMMO SUPPLIES:A little food was transported by truck, but it did not last long; source and route unknown.
PW received one (1) issue of 100 rds of small ammo when they crossed the 38th parallel (date unknown).
MORALE:In the early part of the war, the morale of his company was high, however, it dropped very low due to lack of food, equipment and constant air attacks after crossing the 38th parallel.
