PW seemed to be of average intelligence. Cooperative. Reliability - fair. Physical condition - fair. Length of service one month.
3. MILITARY HISTORY:Inducted at SINUIJU on 10 Aug 50 and attached to 43 Regt, Technical Security Co. Each man was equipped with a rifle and 80 rounds of ammunition.

Strength of 43rd Regt was approx 500 men when the unit arrived at SO SA. PW with 6 men deserted on 16 Sep 50 when the 43rd Regt departed for YONG DONG PO. There was a Mortar and Tank Co. Number of men in each company was unknown except for the Mortar Maintenance Co.
Strength of this company was 60 men.
5. ARMOUR:The 43rd Regt had 10 (T-34) tanks and 50 automatic rifles.

After he deserted on 16 Sep 50 PW with 6 men headed east and were hiding in the mountains near KWANG CHU (広州) approx 35 km ESE of KYONGSON, waiting for the end of the war.
He surrendered himself a few days later.
