ARMED FORCES
7th INF DIVISION WONSAN (元山)
Pvt (戰士) Apr 50
The 15th Ind Div (Koreans separated from Manchurian Army in CHINA) was newly designated as 7th Inf Div (NKA) (Code No 825). Russian officers up to rank of Lt Col observed by PW before departure from WONSAN.

12 INF DIVISION ANDONG (安東), KOREA
The 7th Inf Div was given 12th Inf Div designation interchangeably. 7th became 12th after ANTUNG up to PW capture dat, 24 Sep 50.
PW unit, from outset of war to date (captured), moved around frequently never staying at any one place too long. PW thinks it was to prevent hardship on the people and also to confuse the enemy leading them to think that the NKA had plenty of artillery reserve units.
