PW was in good physical condition. Cooperative but of below average intelligence. Not recommended for further interrogation.

Conscripted into CCF at HU SHAN TUN Apr 50. Immediately assigned to present unit. 37th Regt crossed 38th parallel Dec 50. 37th Regt arrived vic CS 653543 taking positions approx 15 days ago. Did not engage UN forces until 7 Mar 51. Heard 2d Bn CP located 2 km E of position approx 15 days ago. No knowledge of unit to W of position. PW was captured when overrun by 19th RCT.

f. Morale:
Morale is low due to lack of rest and incessant bombardments by arty and planes. Majority have no desire to fight but also do not want to surrender. Told by superiors they would be killed by UN forces if taken prisoner.
g. UN Leaflets:
Has seen but has not picked up any for fear of punishment from superiors. Overheard discussion of leaflets among other soldiers but did not believe contents of leaflets.
