2. ASSESSMENT:
PW was fairly cooperative and spoke very freely. Information is fairly reliable.

3. TACTICAL INFORMATION:
Chronology:
25 Aug 49: PW conscripted into the direct communication Co, 25th Regt, 10th Div, II Corps at HAMHUNG. PW worked as a telephone operator until 25 May 50. During the above mentioned period PW did not receive any training.
26 May 50: II Corps was ordered to move down south near 38th Parallel to prepare for battle. Three days after the war started II Corps left CHUNCHON and moved further south. However, PW remained at CHUNCHON because of his ill health.
O/a Jul 50: 244th Inf Regt was organized at CHUNCH’ON and the PW was transferred to this unit.
15 Sep 50: 244th Inf Regt was ordered to leave CHUNCH’ON.
5 Nov 50: PW’s unit arrived in KANGGYE(江界) approx 20 days. PW met his former unit, and he was later transferred back to II Corps.
30 Dec 50: 25th Regt retreated from HONGCH’ON after they were attacked by ROK forces.
1 Jan 51: When his unit retreated to NAMMYON they were again attacked by ROK units. PW was captured at KAPIONGRI. Because of his ill health he couldn’t keep up with the Unit.

Unit Organization and Strength:
II Corps was composed of 3 Divs, (2nd, 10th and 15th). Each Div consists of 3,000 men.
There was a communication Bn, Recon Co, Engr Plat, Finance Plat, Antitank Rifle Bn, Motorcycle Bn, and a Medical Bn directly under each Div.
Each Div composed of 3 rifle Regt and one Arty Regt.
There is a Communication Co, LMG Co, Engr Plat, Recon Plat, Security Plat, 120 mm Mortar and 176 mm Arty Co, and Medical Co directly under each rifle Regt.

4. GENERAL
Morale:
Morale of his unit was very low because most all the men were inexperienced and also due to the shortage of food.
