Standards Required to Continue After Admission:
PW Class was the only one composed entirely of Koreans. Therefore, if students could not maintain average grades, they were dismissed from the college.
However, in case of Chinese students, they were allowed to take the same course over again. Among the 150 Koreans who entered college with PW, approximately 6 were dismissed.
General:
The Korean students who entered college with the PW, were divided into 2 classes. Although they received the same course and graduated at the same time, they were called the 134th graduated and the 135th graduates. The number of graduates for each class was unusually low compared to the ordinary Chinese classes. The number of Chinese students was very large; however, PW did not have any knowledge of the number. This college was primarily for Chinese students and there were also teachers for dentistry. PW heard that there was 1 Korean who had graduated from the dental school. However, there were no Korean students attending the dental course at the time the PW was attending college. This college was established in 1945 or 1946.
Faculty:
The president of the college was a CCF member. Some of the teachers were CCF members and some were civilians. Only 3 teachers were Koreans and all of them were civilian. The number of Japanese teachers and Chinese teachers seemed to be about the same. Some Chinese teachers came to teach from the main school in HSINGSHAN-SHIS (興山市). The most famous teacher was Professor RO (魯) who was in his sixties and had studied in JAPAN.
Graduate Training:
PW heard that some students who graduated with PW were sent back to the college from HARBIN (哈爾濱). However, she did not know whether or not they were sent back for graduate training. She believed that it was possible for all the previous graduates to receive additional training since the length of the course was expected to be extended.

5. MEDICAL PRACTICE:
After graduation, 6 months internship was usually required with in CCF units. After successfully completing the examinations, a license to practice was issued by the senior medical officers of various CCF Army Groups. However, those students who graduated with PW received their internship at the college for only 4 months and a license to practice was issued by the college.

6. DRUGS, BIOLOGICAL PRODUCTS, SURGICAL INSTRUMENTS AND MEDICAL EQUIPMENT:
PW did not suffer from lack of any items while she was attending college.
Drugs:
In 1947, most of the drugs were Japanese. In March 1950, a large amount of US drugs, captured from Chinese Nationalist Army, were used; however, they still used more Japanese drugs in the college. Most of vaccine and serum for immunization were produced in HSINGSHIN-SHIH (興山市). PW heard that drugs used at the front lines of the CCF were mostly US made.

7. DISEASES OF NATIONAL SIGNIFICANCE IN MANCHURIA:
Typhus
Dysentery
