a. Chronology
9 Sep 50 - Inducted at SEOUL and assigned to 2d Bn, 2d Regt, 31st Div.
17 Sep 50 - Unit regrouped at KOKSAN (BT 9695). Reorganized as 14th Regt, 27 Div, II Corps.
Late Sep-Mid Dec 50 - 14th Regt engaged in setting up road block between YANGDOK (BU 9744) and KOKSAN. Attacked MSR at night and hid in hills during day.
Mid Dec 50 - 14th Regt dep KOKSAN.
Late Dec 50 - Arr KARYOJU (CT 2692) and joined 27th Div. Heard from Bn CO II Corps (27th Div, 31st Div, 2d Div, and 9th Div) was in vic of KARYOJU.
Early Jan 51 - 27th Div dep KARYOJU.
21 Feb 51 - Div arr PYONGCHAN via CHUNCH’ON, HONGCH’ON, ANHUNG-DONG, PAGNIM-Nl thru mountain passes.
28 Feb 51 - PW surrendered at SOHAN-RI.

c. Supply
22 Feb 41 supply plat of 14th Regt received 60 x 82 mm mortar shells, 30 wooden cases (5,000 rd per case) rifle ammo, and 2,400 rd for PPSH SMG from Regt Hq. This was transported by Div supply unit to Regt CP.
Regt supply plat issued the supplies to each battalion in these quantities:
82mm Mortar - 20 shells
PPSH SMG - 800 rd
Rifle ball ammo - 50,000 rd
Ammo was carried by troops.
No food supplies received at PYONGCHANG.
No supplies brought or picked up while moving south.

d. Morale
Low due to lack of food and intense air attacks during day.

f. Replacements
14th Regt received 80 men 23 Feb 51 in vic of PYONGCHANG. Heard they were from III Corps.
