6th Co consisted of 3 platoons but at present only the 2d and 3d platoons remain, the 1st Plat having been wiped out. Because of these heavy casualties the companies have received personnel from units attached to the divisions.

UnitStrength

They had one engagement with UN Forces. From here they proceeded to TOKCHON where they again engaged UN Force. Then in Nov 50, they arrived in KAECHON. From here they passed SUNCHON, vicinity of PYONGYANG and arrived in YONCHON. From YONCHON the division of the 38th Army advanced along different routes.

They stayed there for approx 1 month to rest and await replacements and resupply of ammo which did not come in. However, due to heavy UN pressure in the central area, the regiment was sent out to aid another CCF Unit, which PW believe arrived after a day's trip. PW caught up with the regiment o/a 13 Feb 51 at TAEGON-NI (CS55433) and stayed there for approx 20 days. O/a 26 Feb 51, the 337th Regt withdrew north of the HAN River and units were deployed and prepared defensive positions. 6th Co was approx 600 meters NE of OKCHON-NI (CS645530). Believe the other units of the regiments were situated in the general area to the west. 7 Mar 51, the companies of the 2d Bn were heavily hit, resulting in scattering and withdrawal of the companies.
