DATE AND PLACE OF CAPTURE: Captured 14 Feb 51 at CS 250470.
UNIT MAKING CAPTURE: H & S Co, 10th Engineer.
INTERROGATORS: SY & MKH

2. CIRCUMSTANCES OF CAPTURE:
Left SEOUL with his unit at 2100 12 Feb 51 and reached Mt. KWANAK-SAN vicinity CS 220450 early following morning. Surrounded by UN forces and after several attempts to escape PW was captured.

3. ASSESSMENT:
Physical condition: Good.
Information considered fairly reliable.
Recommended for further interrogation.

c. Captured.

d. Location of adjacent units: Saw NK police and also CCF in SEOUL.

e. Heavy Weapons:
(1) Saw 1 x 45mm gun pulled by a truck at YONGDUNGPO RI headed for SEOUL area 9 Feb 51.
(2) 2d Bn - 1 x 82mm mortar with 100 rounds.

f. Reinforcements: 8 replacements came to 2d Bn 11 Feb 51 and assigned to 5th Co, 2d Bn. Replacements came from HAEJU and more civilian clothing due to shortage of uniforms.

g. HAN River Crossing:
(1) About 2400 12 Feb 51 crossed the HAN River at vicinity of CS 275560.
(2) No bridging equipment used.
