b. Training (Location)
Battery officers, NCO and EM were trained at CHOLWON(鐵原) North KOREA from Jul 50 to Aug 50. Also trained at SEOUL from Aug 50 to 15 Sep 50.

c. Combat Experience
4 days at INCH’ON (仁川)

d. Casualties
8 killed and 12 wounded by fighter planes’ strafing.

e. Air Attack
Men were very much afraid of air attacks. Hid in trenches, trees and houses.

f. Movement
Horses were used for moving Arty pieces.

g. Maximum Range
Approx 10km.

h. Fuses
Similar to KTM-1 impact fuse for 76mm Howitzer.

i. Battery Organization
Four 76mm Howitzers to a battery. 560 rounds of 76mm Howitzer shell. Ammunition was drawn from division supply. Ammunition was not available at all times. Usually by horse drawn carts. Wide dirt surfaced roads were used as much as possible. 10 rounds a day.

j. Organization of Position Area
Single line approx pieces 30m apart. Natural vegetation was used for camouflage. Slit trenches were dug. No security around the Arty area.

k. Pieces normally employed in general support.
Used as an offensive weapon.

l. Inf - Arty Team (Commander)
When the infantry and artillery constituted a team, the infantry commander was in command.

m. Communication (Reliability)
Field telephones were the only reliable source of communication.

n. Observation (Type)
Forward observers. With field telephone.

o. Massing of Fire
Fire can be massed by battery, Bn or Regt.

p. Liaison
Battery has a liaison EM communicating by field telephone. Receives instruction and order from Inf Regt Ass’t commander.

q. Losses (Guns)
2 were destroyed by air bombing.
