c. Food, Ammo and Other Supplies:
One Russian type truck brought in ammo and food from an unknown area 3 times a week to the Independent Transportation Company, Supplies consisted mostly of hand grenades, 60 mm Mortar shells and rice. The truck arrived at night and unloaded supply in an open field approx 4 Km North of ILBI-RI (CS 4165). Supplies were immediately camouflaged with mats. On the following night, the supplies were packed on horses and were brought to the vic of SIJANG-NI (CS 4556). Here, the supplies were unloaded. Troops and horses dispersed in the mountains were dispatched to pick up the supplies. The horses were guided along the trails, 6 m apart. When a motor of a plane was heard, each horse tender quieted his horse and held its head down, steadying the beast to remain motionless.
PW believes that the ammo truck took the road that travels NE from ILBI-RI.

d. Artillery:
2nd Independent, 92 mm Gun Co, 112th Division had 4 guns. Heard from an artillery man that the caliber of the gun was 92 mm. Mounted on steel wheels; had a short muzzle about 1.5 m long; drawn by 1 horse.
Also heard that there was shortage of ammo. Similar to the (Japanese) model 14 (1925) 105 mm gun (after an illustration was shown him).

e. Signal:
The Independent Transportation Company used runners. Other methods unknown.

f. Morale:
Morale of the troops in PW Company was low because of fatigue and lack of confidence in victory.

g. Psychological Warfare:
Voluntarily surrendered because of being a former CNA soldier and had no desire to fight for the CCF.
Saw leaflets and surrendered immediately for good treatment and food. It also informed him that when he intends to surrender, to come alone and to take narrow pathways at night only.
