PW conscripted into CNA 5 Nov 46 at HUNAN SHENG (湖南省). Captured by CCF 2 Nov 49 at SSUCHUAN SHENG (四川省) with CNA 20th Army Group. The following day, PW marched northward with 20th Army Group, arriving HUPEI SHENG (湖北省) o/a 1 Jan 50. Here 20th Army Group underwent basic Inf training and received Communists indoctrination until 1 Aug 50.
The following day, the former CNA 20th Army Group was redesignated as the CCF 150th Div; the officers, however, were all replaced by regular CCF officers.
O/a 1 Sep 50, PW departed with 150th Div by rail and arrived LIAONING SHENG (遼寧省) 5 days later. Unit detrained here and recuperated for approx 20 days and then went, again by rail, to ANTUNG (安東), arriving o/a 27 Sep 50. 150th Div detrained here, recuperated for 3 days, and then crossed the YALU River, arriving SINUIJU 1 Oct 50.
The following day unit marched southward through unfamiliar mountains, travelling only at night and taking cover in mountains or deserted villages during the day, and arrived SEOUL o/a 12 Jan 51. The following day, after receiving orders from higher Hq to defend an area approx 20 Km south of SEOUL at any cost, 150th Div marched southward, arriving at designated area after one night of travel.

Food obtained only by confiscation. 150th Div received ammo supplies daily while defending the area 20 Km south of SEOUL. An unk no of horse-wagons were employed to haul ammo supplies from SEOUL during the night. As horse-wagons were employed, PW believed the supplies were hauled via the main automobile road from SEOUL. PW heard from his Plat Ldr that ammo supplies were brought to SEOUL from MANCHURIA via rail daily.

8. SIGNAL:
Bn and higher echelon units used telephones for communication.
Lower echelon units used runners.
The 150th Div used no bugles or whistles since they believe UN forces already know their purpose. Hand signals were used at close range.

9. MORALE AND BATTLE EFFECTIVENESS:
