2. ASSESSMENT:
PW was in good physical condition at time of interrogation. Cooperative and of average intelligence. Information obtained is considered reliable. Not recommended for further interrogation.

3. TACTICAL INFORMATION:
a. Unit Organization, Strength and Equipment:
50th Army composed of the 148th, 149th, and 150th Div. 150th Div composed of 448th, 449th, and 450th Regt. 448th Regt composed of 3 Rifle Bn, 82mm Mortar Co, and Med Co. 1st Bn composed of 3 Rifle Co, HMG Co and Litter Sqd. 1st Co composed of 3 Rifle Plat and 50mm Mortar Sqd.
The code designation for 150th Div: 3rd Bn(三大隊)
448th Regt: 1st Co(一中隊)
1st Bn: 1st Volunteer Unit(自願一隊)
1st Co: 1st Combat Unit(戰一隊)

One man from the Mortar Sqd was killed by LMG fire and nine others taken as PW 26 Jan 51.
82mm Mortar Co had 4x82mm mortars.
HMG Co had 4 HMG.
60mm Mortar Sqd had 2x50mm mortars.
Remainder of the troops armed with rifles and PPsh M-1941 SMG.

b. Disposition:
O/a 20 Jan 51, 448th Regt CP located on a hill approx 1 km north of Hill 156 (CS3323) in a dugout covered with straw.

c. Communication:
Telephones and runners were used for communication within unit.

d. Personalities:
WANG, fun(王) - 1st Co CO, 1st Bn, 448th Regt

e. Morale:
Morale of 90% of men in 50th Army is low due to over-exhaustion, lack of food and insufficient clothing.

f. Chronology:
PW formerly with CNA 15th Army. Captured by CCF Dec 49 at SEZCHWAN(四川). Immediately after capture PW was integrated into present unit. 150TH Div arr ANTUNG o/a 29 Oct 50 and on same day crossed Manchurian border by train to SINUIJU. 448th Regt crossed CHONGCHON River o/a 15 Nov 50 and marched south, arr at P'YONGYANG mid Dec 50. 448th Regt crossed the 38th Parallel early Jan 51, arr SEOUL o/a 10 Jan 51. From 19 Jan 51 to time of PW capture, 445th Regt engaged UN forces approx 40 km south of SEOUL. PW captured while in a foxhole 251600 Jan 51 by Turkish Brigade vic Hill 156(CS3323).

g. Food and Ammo Supplies:
After crossing the Manchurian border troops were fed Korean food, usually millet. Troops were fed twice a day. PW claims food insufficient. Unit received no food supplies from CHINA after crossing the border.
Ammo supply insufficient. Mortar Sqd had 12 rd of ammo for each mortar. Ea rifleman and approx 50 rd of ammo and 2 hand grenades.

h. Psychological Warfare:
PW picked up 4 UN surrender leaflets 25 Jan 51 and kept them in his pocket. After reading the leaflets PW would have deserted to UN forces but did not have the opportunity. Approx half the men in his co read the leaflets, and he heard that they are willing to surrender at the first opportunity.

i. Foreign Technicians:
There is one Chinese interpreter of Korean nationality in each Regt.

j. Medical:
PW had not received any immunization.
