2. ASSESSMENT:
Unobservant, fairly intelligent and fairly cooperative. Reliability - Fair.

3. TACTICAL INFORMATION:
a. Chronology:
18 Sep 50: Conscripted into the NKA 6th Div, Reserve Bn, which was composed of members of NK “Volunteer” Corps at KUMCH’ON(金泉), KOREA. Received tactical training for about a week but due to the advance of ROK Units, the Reserve Bn had to retreat.
25 Sep 50: Left KUMCH’ON(金泉), KOREA for HUP’YONG(茷坪), KOREA on foot.
30 Oct 50: Reported to 6th Div Hq in HUP’YONG(茷坪).
11 Nov 50: 6th Div, Reserve Bn redesignated Korean CHIISAN (mt) (智異山), guerrilla force which included the Political Operation Unit (政治工作隊) and members of Political Organization. Former Reserve Bn consisted of approx 200 SK conscripts. Political Operation Unit consisted of approx 200 NK men. Political Organization consisted of approx 450 SK men. The Guerrilla Force Hq followed the unit.
13 Nov 50: The Guerrilla Force left HUP’YONG(茷坪) for CHIISAN (Mt) (智異山) on foot to pick up a number of guerrillas but changed its course and stopped at MUNGYONG(聞慶) sometime in Dec 50 because 2 US Div were at TANYANG(丹陽), PW became mess Sgt shortly after he left HUP’YONG(茷坪) but became a patrol leader shortly before the reached MUNGYONG(聞慶). The Guerrilla Force attacked the troops at TANYANG(丹陽), many times.
28 Jan 51: PW surrendered to the US forces because he could no longer march with the troops due to severe frost bite.
