PW was cooperative but not very alert or observant and could provide no information.
Information seems very unreliable.

Co officers returned to this company after they were attacked by aircraft on 27 Jan 51.

There were two types of bangalore torpedoes; one was a pull-pin type, and the other was used as a at mine.
Approx 3 unk sized mountain guns were observed in each Regt during November 50.

4. LOCATION AND ACTIVITIES:
442nd Regt Hq was located approx 12 Km SW of SUWON (CS2428). Last seen on 15 Jan 51.
27 Jan 51, 1st Bn was attacked by an unk US Unit. PW Sqd suffered 5 casualties.
Mission and objectives were unk.

5. PERSONAL AND UNIT HISTORY:
Conscripted into the CNA Nov 40 at YUNNAN SONG.
Received 3 months military training.
Captured by the CCF at TUNGPEI(東北) Apr 50.
Assigned to 148th Div, 50th Army during Apr 50 at CHILIN(吉林) (Movement from here until KOREA was not known.)
148th Div arrived at an unk point of the MANCHURIAN-KOREAN border at an unk date.
A steel bridge was crossed into KOREA.
The main highway was used by the Div for traveling until SUWON was reached. No place names or dates were known.

6. FOOD, AMMO, AND OTHER SUPPLIES:
2 meals were received daily by the troops. All food was precured locally.
No ammo stockpiles or transportation were seen.

7. MORALE AND BATTLE EFFECTIVENESS:
Morales was low due to poor food and being exposed to the cold weather. An unk number of desertions were heard to have occurred.

8. MEDICAL:
Common colds were mostly suffered by the troops.
A few causes of frozen feat were soon. No treatment was seen being administered.

9. PSYCHOLOGICAL WARFARE:

10. TACTICS AND TECHNIQUES:
Marches - Main highway was used by PW unit until SUWON was reached. They usually in columns of two's.
Bivouacs - PW unit usually spent the day in the wooded mountains. Sentries were posted in unk numbers. Natural camouflage employed in bivouac areas.
