PW last saw his Div and Regt 7 Km S of YONGJU heading South.
PW heard from the Bn CO 25 Dec 50 at HWACH’ON that the 10th Div mission was to surround TANDONG (DR6545) and take the town. Then, the 10th Div would occupy ANDONG while the Regt’s were placed in designated area around ANDONG to cut supply routes, block roads, destroy RR and harass UN forces.
PW also heard from a fellow soldier Jan 51 in the vicinity of YONGJU that the 6th Div was following the 10th Div.
Since the 10th Div lacked ammo and equipment, they must save whatever supply they had in hand, in order to take ANDONG. The Div would take different routes and avoid fighting UN Forces they might encounter before arriving at ANDONG.

The Arty Regt reorganized at NAEKUN GANG Mt. They gathered conscripts from the NAEKUN GANG Mt area and also picked up stragglers.

Ammo and weapons captured by these regiments were distributed to Arty Regt personnel. Method of transportation was unknown. 10th Div left HWACH’ON on 26 Dec 50 and marched to 7 kms S of YONGJU arriving 16 Jan 51.
