O/a 24 Oct 50, 120th Div with strength of approx 10,000 men crossed the YALU river at SINUIJU. Upon arriving at CHONGCHON River, the unit was attacked by UN troops but despite heavy fire, they waded across the river 2400 25 Nov 50. HW Co and 2nd Bn was the advance unit and was first to cross the river and took up positions. The 1st and 3rd Bns followed and dispersed to left and right flank of 2nd Bn.
