Chronology:
25 Aug 50: PW conscripted into NKA at CHOSAN and sent to CHINNAMPO. Attached to unk unit and sent to SEOUL.
End Sep 50: Unit ordered to retreat; scattered.
15 Nov 50: Arrived CHONCH’ON (前川) where the stragglers were absorbed by the 6th Div. Winter uniforms were issued but weapons were still too scarce to go around.
23 Nov 50: Unit moved south passing through HUICHON, TOKCHON, YANGDOK (rested a week), PYONGGANG and YANGGU.
29 Dec 50: Crossed 38th Parallel.
1 Jan 51: Captured at HONGCH’ON while preparing food.
