2. ASSESSMENT:
PW was very cooperative, but had little reliable information.

3. TACTICAL INFORMATION:
Chronology:
3 Oct 50 PW was conscripted into the 15th Regiment at KUMSAN (錦山) while North Korean Army was retreating North.
15 Nov 50 PW arrived at CHAKANGDO (慈江道) and remained there for five days.
3 Dec 50 PW arrived at KAECHON (价川) and remained there for another five days. PW received no training because of frequent air raids.
7 Jan 51 Arrived at WONJU (原州). When his unit arrived here PW participated in the battle against US forces. He fired four rounds. That afternoon 2 companies were surrounded by US forces. Most of the men were captured except one company which was on the outskirts of WONJU in reserve.

Unit Organization and Strength:
6th Division composed of 3 Regiments. PW believes there are 1,500 men in each Regiment. Communication platoon, reconnaissance platoon, 82mm Mortar company, security platoon and medical platoon were directly under each Regiment.
Each Regiment composed of 3 battalions. Communication platoon, supply platoon and anti-tank squad were directly under each battalion.

4. GENERAL:

Morale:
Morale of the unit was very low, because they were only retreating until they were captured.
PW did not see or hear of UN surrender leaflets or broadcasts.
