Chronology:
17 Jun 50: Inducted into the NKA at SUKCHONG and received two weeks of training with the10th Div, 27th Regt Recon Plat.
O/a 15 Oct 50: PW’s unit which retreated from the battle along the NAKTONG River crossed the 38th parallel in retreat.
O/a 15 Nov 50: The PW’s unit assembled at HACHON (華川).
Late Nov 50: PW’s unit started its march southward from the defensive patrol duty along the 38th parallel.
Dec 50: PW’s unit went from YANGGU (楊口) toward HONGCHON (洪川).
3 Jan 51: The PW with 2 others were captured while on patrol trying to find a camping site for the Regt.
