Unit History:
The 41st Div was newly organized on 25 Sep 50 at NANAM. Division was to defend the coast line and the vicinity of NANAM; however, after receiving orders to advance south, this division became the Right Flank unit. The division mainly consisted of men without training. Most of the troops deserted their units o/a 18 Nov 50 at IHYANG-DONG. Believes the strength was so low that combat was impossible. Casualties, when PW deserted, were estimated to be one-third.
