2. ASSESSMENT:
PW appeared in good physical condition. Farmer prior to entering army. Information considered unreliable. Not recommended for further interrogation.

3. TACTICAL INFORMATION:
a. Chronology:
Conscripted at TUNGBEI, CHILIN 13 Jul 49, and assigned to 1st Bn, 2nd Co, 1st Plat, 2nd Sqd (Div unk). Received training in mountain warfare in CHILIN area from Jul 49 to Oct 49. No other special training. 1st and 2nd Bns crossed YALU River at MANP’OJIN by train o/a 17 Sep 50. Arrived at TOKCHON BV7004 as reserves o/a 18 Nov 50. (Areas prior to TOKCHON unk.) PW’s units designation changed to 40th Army, 107th Regt, 2nd Bn, 4th Co, 2nd Plat, 4th Sqd at TOKCH’ON. Battalion contacted friendly forces. Remained 5 days and proceeded to KAECHON YD4898. Stayed one day.
Tactical:
107th Regt was moving south in unknown area when PW lost contact with his unit. Captured when trying to locate unit. Estimate distance between point captured and unit when lost to be approx 60 km. Direction unk.

2nd Bn composed of 4th, 5th, 6th Cos plus MG Co.
Rifle Co - Approx 100 men
MG Co - Approx 120 men
Weapons: Rifle Co - 9 LMGs and rifles.
MG Co - 3 mortars (cal unk), 4 HMG
