ATIS INTERROGATION REPORT NO. 2748　26 December 1950

FIELD REPORT (24 Div - LDI – 0126)　26 November 1950

PW in good physical condition at time of interrogation. Cooperative and of average intelligence. Information obtained considered reliable. Not recommended for further interrogation,

On 21 Aug 50, PW conscripted into the NK Army at SINUIJU and assigned to 105th Div Independent Transportation Plat. Received 10 days training.

From 1 Sep to 28 Sep 50, 4 trucks transported to SANCHON XE6506 rifle, arty and mortar ammo (10 trips). Lengths of ammo varied from 50 cm, 100 cm to 150 cm. Ammo taken from 4 caves (5m x 4m x 8m) at foot of meuhtain approx 2 km west of NAM-SINUIJU Station. Each truck hauled approx 1 1/2 tons of ammo. Each cave stored approx 6 tons of ammo. PW stated that ammo in SONCHON were stored in a tunnel approx 1 km south of SONCHON Station.

From 28 Sep 50 to 10 Oct 50, PW hauled food from SINANJU Station to lumber mill where transportation plat was stationed (SINUIJU).

From 10 Oct to 29 Oct 50 approx 3 trips, two trucks transported ammo from SINUIJU Station to a Primary School in KUSONG XE9329. Ammo dump in KUSONG unknown to PW.

On 28 Oct 50, PW's truck was damaged.by UN aircraft. 29 Oct 50, PW was told by Plat ldr to repair the truck. On 3 Nov 50, PW departed the Plat to look for parts and while traveling to TAECHON YE1422 via SONCHON was captured 251300 Nov 50.

PW’s transportation plat had 10 vehicles and 38 men. Armed with rifles. From 1 Sep to 28 Sep 50, PW observed 2 antiaircraft guns located in mountain approx 1 km east of NAM-SINUIJU Station. PW saw approx 1500 NK troops stationed at PYONAN Middle School and SINUIJU Commercial School approx 3/4 to 1 km east of NAM-SINUIJU Station,
