2. ASSESSMENT:
PW appeared to be in good physical condition at time of interrogation. PW was a farmer prior to entering the service. PW was a farmer prier to entering the service. PW was cooperative but of below average intelligence. Interrogation was conducted thru a Korean interpreter who has knowledge of Chinese and evaluation of information should be assessed accordingly. PW, being a Medical Corpsman had very limited knowledge of tactical information. Recommended for further interrogation.

3. TACTICAL INFORMATION:
a. Chronology:
PW was inducted into the Chinese Nationalist Army 12 Oct 1942 at CHIESO. PW served with the Nationalist Army until Mar 1949 when he was captured by elements of the CCF in HANKOW. PW held the rank of Private First Class in the Nationalist Army, After being captured by the CCF, PW was assigned to the 40th Army, 118th Div, 353rd Regt, 3rd Bn, Independent Medical Co, at HANKOW. 40th Army departed HANKOW Mar 49 and arrived in MAOPUNG, where it was stationed for approx 3 months, receiving field training. 40th Army deserted MAOPUNG and arrived at YUSHIEN where it was stationed for approx one month, performing garrison duties, 40th Army then rent to PEIHAI and remained the refer approx 15 days undergoing marksmanship training. 40th Army then departed PEIHAI and went to an unk location where it received amphibious training for approx 3 months. The 40th Army then went to HAINAN Island and fought against the Chinese Nationalist Army for approx 15 days, Route taken from HAINAN Island to ANTUNG unk to PW. The 40th Army arrived in ANTUNG by train, approx four months ago. The 40th Army received approx 2½ months of field training at ANTUNG, prior to crossing the border into North KOREA.

b. Organization and Strength:
40th Army res composed of 3 Div’s, 118th Div composed of 3 Regts. Strength of Div and Regt unk. 120 men were assigned to the Independent Medical Co (4 doctors, 40 aidmen, and 76 litter bearers). A Med Co is attached to each Regt.
