2. ASSESSMENT:
FW was not evasive in answering questions and was very cooperative. His intelligence was fairly low. Information obtained is fairly reliable,

105th Regiment: Composed of unknown number of Bns. Each Bn composed of 3 Inf companies. Also attached to the Bns were supply plat, signal plat, medical plat, engineer plat, recon plat, and an anti-tank plat. Each Inf Co composed of 4 plats with each plat composed of 4 sqds.

2nd Regiment: Consisted of 3 Bns. Attached to each Bn was a supply, signal, recon, engineer, and medical plat. In each Bn there were 6 Co’s and in each Co there were 3 plats each consisting of 4 squads. (Organization was dispersed o/a 16 Nov 50)

4. LOCATION & ACTIVITIES OF UNITS:
The 105th Regt withdrew from HAENAN (海南) thru the southern’ mountains of Korea and the TAEBAK Mts. O/a 24 Oct 50, near the 38th parallel the personnel of the 105th Regt separated having received no orders to reorganize. From there the PW continued North and at INJAE (麟蹄) was apprehended by the NK MP’S. He was compelled to join 'the 7th Div. From INJAE to KAPYONG RI, he accompanied the 7th Div and at KAPYONG RI he separated from his unit on 16 Nov 50 and captured.

5. PERSONAL & UNIT HISTORY:
9 Jul 50 - 105th Regt organized at YONGCH’ON (連川), set out for South Korea and arrived in SEOUL on the 29th of July. The 105th Regt went from SEOUL to HAE NAM passing thru KONJU (公州), CHUNGJU (淸州), and KWONGJU (光州). It stayed at HAEM (海南) for tne month and in mid Sep withdrew.

6. MORALE:
PW states that the morale of his plat was very low due to the lack of supplies, ammo, and replacements. The subject also states that they were afraid to fight the UN forces.

7. US POW’S:
PW states that he saw about 200 US POW’s being shipped to SEOUL by train from SUWON (水原) 30 July 50.
