3. MILITARY HISTORY:
Jan 45 - PW was inducted st CHEKIANG PROVINCE (浙江省) and assigned to the Security Guard.
Apr 45 - PW was transferred to the Chinese Nationalist 25th Army, 102nd Division, 304th Regt, 1st Bn, HMG’Co, at KIANGSI (江西).
Sep 45 - 25th Army arrived et NANKING (南京).
Oct 45 - 25th Army left HANKING for YANGCHOW KIANGSU PROVINCE (楊州)
Jan 48 - 25th Army encountered the Chinese Communist’ 8th Army at KIANGSU PROVINCE.
Apr 49 - The 25th Army encountered the Chinese Communist Army. PW was captured at KIANGSU PROVINCE (江蘇省) and was assigned to the 20th Army 89th Div, 265th Regt, 2nd Bn, 5th Co as a mail clerk.
Feb 50 - 20th Army arrived SHANTUNG PROVINCE (山東省) and was given 7 months of training.
Sep 50 - (28 Sep 50) The 20th Army left SHANTUNG PROVINCE by train for ANTUNG, MANCHURIA.
16 Oct 50 - The 60th and 90th Division left ANTUNG for KOREA. (PW heard this from his Co Commander.
18 Oct 50 - The 89th division proceeded to KOREA. Route unknown.
27 Nov 50 - The 256th Regt was under UN artillery and machine gun fire at 2400 hours. The 256th Regt did not return any fire. The 256th Regt retreated at 0500 hours 28 Nov (Location unknown), There were 2 platoons of casualties in the 5th Co, 2nd Bn.
28 Nov 50 - PW deserted his unit with 3 other CCF troops. Captured.

5. FOREIGN ELEMENTS:
PW o/a 21 Oct 1950 somewhere in KOREA, saw 4 (GAZ-67) Soviet Jeeps and 4 Russian officers. The 4 officers are identified as Major by the one star on their epaulets. The 4 Russian officers were armed with pistols.

6. WEAPONS AND PERSONNEL:
PW heard from his CO commander that food and clothing supplies have been destroyed by American planes 21 Nov 50. PW saw on 20 Nov 2 men and 2 horses killed in the HMG Co by plane strafing attack.

7. ARMOUR:
PW at night on 20 Nov was 3×76mm Howitzer and 8 trucks. Five trucks were moving soldiers; other 3 trucks had 5 soldiers each with supply of ammunition. The soldiers were North Koreans. The NK soldiers were armed with PPSH M1941 Tommy Guns and Rifles. The NK convoy was moving toward the North.

8. The FOOD AND SUPPLIES:
Food was obtained from North Korean towns. The Company Commanders order the Korean civilians to produce the food. Some of the food was paid for in Korean monėy.

9. MORALE:
The CCF troops are very willing to fight. They have two moals daily.

10. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The CCF dislike the American Forces because the CCF troops believe the Americans have bombed CHINA.
The 20th Army consists two-thirds ex-CNA personnel. The ex-CNA personnel were assigned to the 20th Army prior to 49.
