7 Jan 48 - Joined the People's Liberation Army at HUNCHUN (琿春), MANCHURIA. Did not have any military training. Assigned to the 15th Div of the CCF.
15 Jan 48 - Was transported to MUTANCHIANG (牧丹江) with 1,000 other soldiers for the purpose of combating the guerrilla forces of the Chinese Nationalist Army.
21 Jan 48 - 22 Jan 48 - Admitted to a field hospital in MUTANCHIANG (牧丹江) because he was weak and underage.
27 Jan 48 - 12 Oct 48 - Assigned to HSIAN (西安) Hospital where he worked as a farmer in the Production Unit (SEISAN TAI) which was a part of the hospital.
2 Nov 48 - 21 Jan 49 - Arrived TANGSHAN (唐山), CHINA where he worked in the 15 Corps, Rear Echelon Medical Unit, 26th Hospital, as a dairyman caring for 8 milk cows.

Most of the equipment used in the hospital was of Japanese make. Some were of American make.

LOCATION OF UNIT AT TIME OF DEPARTURE FOR KOREA
Feb 50 - Unit was located in HWANGCHOU (廣州), CHINA.

UNIT COMPLEMENT TRANSFERRED TO KOREA
All the Koreans in the unit were transferred to KOREA.

PAY OF PERSONNEL

Lt - 19,000 yuan
Female personnel used to receive 10,000 yuan extra.

ATTITUDE OF CIVILIAN POPULATION
The people are very favorably, inclined toward the CCF because the soldiers obey their regulations.
