Actual Battle Organization & Strength:
10th Div - Approx 11,300 men.

Last Known Composition of Unit:
10th Div - Approx 11300 men of the Original Strength, still intact as of 13 Nov 50,

Equipment:
10th Div (as cf 13 Nov 50) - Approx 1040 M1891/30 Rifles, 100 rds per man, 260 PPsh SMG, 130 DP LMG, approx 2,600 F 1 and RG-42 Hand Grenades. 108 MAXIM HMG Ml910 set up in various defensive positions thru out the mountain area, Approx 60, 82mm M1937 m mortar. 14.5 mm PTR-41, no unknown, Radio Transceiver 4R (RBS-40), number unknown.

Clothing:
No winter uniforms were issued, Troops were still dressed in summer uniforms. Some of the troops were without shoes, and blankets were discarded during the retreat from the NAKTONG River front,

Food:
Food is stolen or forced from farmers within the mountain area. Food situation is very critical. Troops eat whenever food is available.

Communications:
The 10th Div Chief of Staff and CG still maintains contact with elements of the NKA 2nd Corp Staff officers, located somewhere in the mountain area of CHORWON. At times contact is made by radio (Transceiver 4R (RBS-40) which has a power output of five watts, and a voice range of approx 3 miles. At other times one of them leaves the unit and makes contact with his 2 Corp Staff officers and returns within 5 days. It is believed that a well organized spy system obtaining information on UN Forces, movement of supply and troops is maintained by 2nd Corp officers within that area.

5. REMARKS:
Troops moral is very low because of adverse conditions, and the fact that they are still fighting under the threat of execution by the officers and NCOs.

For the Commanding Officer:

GERARD
