PW was cooperative. Reliability, good.

3. MILITARY HISTORY:
15 Apr 47 - Inducted at CHONJU (定州), attached to 1st Div, 2nd Regt, 2nd Bn, 6th Co.
15 Aug 47 - 2nd Regt departed CHONGJU for PYONGYANG (平壤). Received tng till Jun 49. Promoted to Sqd Ldr, Nov 48.
Jul 49 - Entered No 2 Naval School.
21 May 50 - Graduated, commissioned Lt.
22 May 50 - 10 officers departed PYONGYANG by rail for CHONGJIN (淸津t). Officers assigned to CHONGJIN Naval School as instructors.
15 Oct 50 - 5 officers and 150 naval cadets departed CHONGJIN for SAJIN DAN (沙津端) and engaged in guard duty. There were approx 500 cadets at the Naval School grouped into 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Cos.
2 Nov 50 - 5 officers and 150 cadets returned to CHONGJIN.
3 Nov 50 - 2400 hrs; personnel of Naval School departed on 4/20T fishing craft with speed of 5-6 knots for ODAEJIN (吳大津). These craft were operated by civilians and had no armament. They came from UNGGI (雄氣), 2 Nov 50, under cover of darkness. They are camouflaged during the day and operated during the night. They are the only ships in operation around CHONGJIN, and are used to save time.
4 Nov 50 - 0600; disembarked at ODAEJIN and hid in the hills due to heavy air attack till 1700 hrs. 776 Unit departed for PONGGANG NI (鳳岡里), arrived 2400 hrs, dug defense positions for 3 days.
8 Nov 50 - 776 Unit departed PONGGN'JG. for PUSAN, DONG (N 41-30 E 127-14), dug positions for 4 days.
12 Nov 50 - Departed PUSAN DONG for YONGAN (永安); while enroute, 1st and 2nd Cos left the balance of the unit. Rest of unit arrived YONGAN, 2100 hrs, 13 Nov 50.
14 Nov 50 - 0800; 3rd, 4th, and Mortar Cos were committed to action and annihilated. 2400 hrs, PW, 1 female Jr Lt, and 1 Pvt escaped to the village. Captured by Security Police.

6-8 Nov 50, observed 4/122MM howitzers, 1938, at PONGGANG NI.
Heard that there were 30 guns (type unknown) in PONGGANG.
