PW was very cooperative, and appeared to be average in intelligence and observation.
Information seams reliable.

3. TACTICAL INFORMATION:
Chronology:
12 Jul 50: Conscripted in PYONGYANG and attended Military Officers’ School.
5 Aug 50: Completed schooling and commissioned Jr Lt.
7 Aug 50: Departed PYONGYANG (平壤) and arrived at CHORWON (鐵原).
16 Aug 50: Assigned to newly organized 25th Inf Brig, 76 mm Arty Bn, Ind Supply Plat, as supply officer.
18 Sep 50: 25th Inf Brig departed CHORWON and arrived at SEOUL.
26 Sep 50: 25th Inf Brig left SEOUL (서울) and retreated toward North in complete rout.
10 Oct 50: 25th Inf Brig reorganized at TOSAN (土山) and found itself with a strength of only three Bns.
14 Oct 50: Reorganized Brig left TOSAN and was engaged in combat in ICHON (利川) with ROK Forces. surrendered.

Last Known Composition of Unit:
On 26 Sep 50 in SEOUL (서울), upon hearing that enemy forces were advancing toward the city, the 25th Inf Brig dispersed and its units all fled north. 25th Brig was reorganized on 10 Oct 50 in TOSAN (土山) and was composed of only three Inf Bns. on14 Oct 50 this reorganized 25th Brig was engaged in combat and believed to have been annihilated by elements of ROK Forces.

Equipment of 25th Inf Brig:
As of 25 Sep 50: The 25th Brig did not possess any weapons, save rifles, prior to leaving SEOUL on 26 Sep 50. Its intention was to pick up weapons, abandoned by retreating NK Forces, along the way to T0SAN (土山).
As of 14 Oct 50: The 25th Brig possessed the following equipment - seven anti-tank rifles; nine trucks; and 20 sub-MG's.

Unit Duties:
The 25th Inf Brig (632 Unit), while stationed in SEOUL, was to be utilized as a reinforcement unit. However, it was ordered to retreat from SEOUL on 26 Sep 50 without being used for any purpose.

Unit History:
25th Inf Brig was activated on or about 16 Aug 50 in CHORWON (　　) with an estimated strength of 4,000 conscriptees. The men received training for one month, before the unit went to SEOUL.

Lt Col KIM, Sung Kwan (金成觀), Brigade Military Affairs Officer.
Capt LI, Hae Ryong (李海龍), Arty (76 mm) Bn.

Morale & Propaganda:
Like the majority of the soldiers in the 25th Brig, PW's morale was low because he was conscripted, PW did not observe any UN propaganda leaflets.

4. GENERAL Information:
Russian Forces:
PW observed on 16 Aug 50 that two Russian military advisers were attached to 25th Inf Brig, then located in CHORWON. The officers, one a colonel, could not be identified.
