3. TACTICAL INFORMATION:
Chronology:
25 Jul 50: Conscripted at PYONGYANG and sent to Officers Training School for 20 days.
23 Aug 50: Commissioned Jr Lt and assigned to the 76 mm arty Bn as plat ldr.
23 Sep 50: Unit was ordered to SEOUL defend city. Infantry units was engaged in battle but since arty units had no arms they did not participate.
29 Sep 50: Ind 76 mm arty Bn, 120 mm mortar, 76 mm, 122 mm arty Bns retreated to UIJONGBU while the other elements of the 25th Brig were still engaged in battle at SEOUL.
31 Sep 50: The above-mentioned elements returned to SEOUL and joined the rest of the Brig in battle.
4 Oct 50: 5% of unit retreated to YONCHON while other 50% were casualties.
9 Oct 50: Unit was again attacked and retreated to TOSAN.
10 Oct 50: Unit arrived at TOSSN and regrouped.
12 Oct 50: Unit established defensive positions on the outskirts of ICHON. While units was engaged in battle PW was captured.

Unit Organization & Strength:
25th Brig (632 Unit) 2,300 men consisting of 76 mm Bn; 120 mm nortar Bn; Eng Bn; Tank Bn; Rifle Bn; and HMG Bns.

Unit History:
18 Aug 50 unit was activated at CHORWON and participated in the battle of SEOUL.

Personalities:
Assist Brig CO - KIM, Song Won, Col.
76 mm Bn CO - LEE, Hyong Soon, Capt.

Morale & Propaganda:
Morale low due to lack of training. Did not see any propaganda leaflets.

Observed 2 Russian Officers on 15 Sep 50 at CHORWON before unit left for SEOUL.
