2. ASSESSMENT:
PW was cooperative, but not too intelligent or observant.

3. TACTICAL INFORMATION:
Chronology:
11 Sep 50 - Drafted into the NKA, 94th Regt, 2nd Bn, 1st Co in SINUIJU (新義州) and received 10 days basic training.
The Div designation was unknown.
22 Sep 50 - The Regt left SINUIJU.
12 Oct 50 - Regt arrived at CHAN P’UNG-GUN (長風郡). Immediately encountered elements of UN Forces and retreated to the north. PW and 3 others surrendered.

Morale and Propaganda:
The morale of the PW’s unit was low, because the majority of the soldiers were drafted into the NKA. There was a shortage of rations and supplies and the men had to march long distances. No one in the PW’s unit had ever seen a UN propaganda leaflet.
