PW was very cooperative but his information was very limited.

3. TACTICAL INFORMATION:
Chronology:
27 Jan 49 - PW volunteered, was inducted into the NKA at CHINNAMP'O, and assigned to the 4th Inf Brig where he received 3 months of basic infantry training.
25 Apr 49 - Assigned to the Intendance Clothing and Shoe Repair Section as sqd ldr with a rank of Jr. Sgt. (下士).
? Mar 50 - The 4th Inf Brig was reorganized and designated the 4th Div.
27 Mar 50 - Promoted to Chief Clerk of the Intendance Food Supply Section, 4th Div, Sgt (中士).
25 May 50 - Commissioned Jr Lt (少尉) and became the Executive Officer of the Food Supply Section.
23 Jun 50 - The 4th Div departed but the Food Supply Section remained in CHINNAMP'O.
25 Jul 50 - PW departed CHINNAMP'O with orders to contact the 4th Div Hq regarding future plans for the Food Supply Section,
5 Aug 50 - Arrived in HYOPCH'ON and made contact with the Intendance Section of the 4th Rifle Div. He was ordered to remain and was dispatched to a rice warehouse to assist the head of the provision section.
20 Sep 50 - Hospitalized at the Field Hospital in KOCH'ANG with an acute intestinal complication.
23 Sep 50 - Transferred to a Field Hospital in TAEJON by truck for further treatment.
27 Sep 50 - Ordered to proceed to CHOCH’IWON on foot bμt heard that it was not safe to proceed by road, so he entered the mountains.
2 Oct 50 - Arrived 20 km west of CH'UNGJU and surrendered to the members of the Local Security Organization.

The 4th Div Hq was composed of the following sections:

The total strength of the Div Hq was approximately 100 men.
The Food Supply Section was composed of 2 officers and 1 NCO.
This Section was responsible for raising and supplying the division with fresh provisions. In CHINNAMP’O the Food Supply Section supervised 5 hired hands and about two acres of farmland. They raised grapes and apples besides keeping 40 pigs, 70 ducks, and 1 cow. The PW believes that the Food Supply Section is still located in CHINNAMP’O.

Personalities:
The 4th Div CG - Maj Gen (少將) LEE, KWON MU (李棬武) (　　　). PW heard that he had been in the USSR and MANCHURIA prior to the war.

Knowledge of Other Units:
As of 25 Jul 50, the 72nd Ind Inf Regt was located in CHINNAMP'O.
A Naval Force of regimental size was located in CHINNAMP'O.
