Chronology:
17 Dec 49: Inducted at SONGJIN (城津). Assigned 2nd Plt, CH’ONGJIN Co, WONSAN (元山) Guard Bn.
8 Jul 50: Entered P'YONGYANG Ministry of the Interior OCS, at YONGSONG (龍城).
28 Aug 50: Approx 1,000 graduated and commissioned Jr Lts (少尉). This was the fifth class to graduate this OCS at YONGSONG.
1 Sep 50: PW and approx 500 Jr Lts departed on foot.
20 Sep 50: Arrived SEOUL. PW and approx 100 Jr Lts were assigned to the Guard Bn, CHINJU (晉州).
30 Sep 50: Arrived CHINJU.
1 Oct 50: CHINJU Guard Bn began to retreat towards the 38° parallel via CHONJU (全州).
4 Oct 50: PW and approx 20 rnen arrived at CHONJU. PW departed alone.
7 Oct 50: Arrived OKCH’ON (沃川).
8 Oct 50: PW voluntarily surrendered to police 12 km N of OKCH’ON.

The above ammo and supplies were observed by the PW. He stated that there may be more in the area.

4. GENERAL:
Storage area mentioned above was a former Japanese ammunition dump area, Ammunition is not stored underground but camouflaged with brush, North side of railroad tracks is off limits to unauthorized personnel. Approx 50-60 guards patrol the area.
