2. ASSESSMENT:
PW was cooperative and his memory was good. He surrendered to the members of the Local Security Organization.

3. TACTICAL INFORMATION:
Chronology:
10 Jan 48 - PW volunteered into the NKA at SINU!JU, He was attached to SINUIJU Independent Cavalry Unit and received 17 months training.
10 Jan 49 - PW was promoted to Jr Lt (少尉).
28 May 49 - The SINUIJU Independent Cavalry Unit was disbanded and the unit 178s absorbed by the 3rd-Security Brigade. PW was asaigned to the Supply Section, 2nd Bn in SARIWON.
14 Oct 49 - Transferred to P'YONGYANG.
20 Jul 50 - Assigned to the 106th Security Regt, 22nd Bn in SEOUL as a supply officer with a rank of Lt (中尉).
1 Sep 50 - The 22nd Bn marched to TANGJIN (唐津) via CH’ONGJU, TAEJON, and CHOCHI'WON.
28 Sep 50 - The 22nd Bn received orders to retreat and rendezvous at WONJU. Completely disorganized and scattered at UMSONG 1 Oct 50.

122-mm Arty Bn had 18 x 122-mm Howitzers.

Unit History:
Twenty-four (24) Security Bn’s were activated in SEOUL 20 Jul 50, and the 106th Security Regt was activated 20 Aug 50 at SEOUL.
2 Sep 50, the 106th Security Regt Hq arrived in HONGSONG (洪城) and the following battalions were attached to its 22nd, 24th, 5th, 17th, and a 122-mm Howitzer Bn. More than 90% of the men assigned to the 106th Security Regt were recruited from the general area of SEOUL.
As of 28 Sep 50, the 106th Security Regt was located in HONGSONG; the 22nd Bn was located in TANGJIN; 24th Bn in ASAN, 5th in SOSAN, 17th Bn in NAMP’O, and the 122-mm Howitzer Bn in HONGSONG.
