PW was sincere and cooperative. PW not recommended further interrogation.

3. TACTICAL INFORMATION:
Chronology:
3 Nov 48 - Inducted into the NKA. at P'YONGYANG. Received basic training and training in truck driving. PW was assigned to the 2nd Rifle Div, 4th Regt.
8 Sep 50 - PW was stationed in HYOPCH'ON (陜川).
9 Sep 50 - Was ordered to CH'ANGNYONG (昌寧), walked and arrived 13 Sep 50. The 33rd Rifle Brigade was then organized. 90% of the personnel were South Korean conscripts. Promoted to M/Sgt.

Transportation Co - 60 men
There were six (6) Bn’s; each Bn had 749 men.
Total strength of the 33rd Brigade was 4,913 men.

Organization of the 33rd Brigade:
The 33rd Brigade was set up with available manpower but lacked equipment. Before the troops could be equipped, UN Forces attacked. All the South Koreans deserted, leaving a few NKA NCO's and officers to fight for their lives. Majority of the NKA army personnel fled toward the north in small groups. The Brigade Commander ordered all of his men to flee and those South Koreans who lived in the area made for their homes.
