a. Equipment:
16 S 76's - all destroyed by aircraft.
b. Communication:
Roads - Not very much damage inflicted by aircraft. Bridges were all damaged by aircraft - some are repairable but because of aircraft no repairs could take place - usually traffic detoured to shallow places of river or streams - someplaces where there are no shallow spots, bags of pebbles and sand are placed in water to about 1 foot below the surface. This method has proved very effective. Tanks and trucks have crossed rivers and even rail can be installed. Never were damaged or seen by Aircraft.
c. Personalities:
HAN KUK P'IL - (한국필) 3rd Div SU 76 Bn Co - Lt Col - Age 25
d. Morale and Propaganda:
Morale was low because all SU 76's were destroyed by Aircraft before they were ever used in battle.
15 Sep 50 - Found and read a surrender leaflet and allowed his men to read them also. His Bn Co told him and the other men that to surrender is like walking in to an American trap because the Americans are using thins method to kill them.
