Chronology:
9 Apr 48 inducted into the RR Security Unit at P'YONGYANG (平壤). Received 15 days basic training.
25 Apr 48 Assigned to 6th Co. RR Security Unit.
10 Feb 49 Transferred to 87th Regt. 9th Div at HAEJU (海州)
1 Jan 50 Commissioned Jr Lt and assigned as Chief Librarian of the 87th Regt
25 Jun 50 Attacked ONGJIN (甕津). Marched towards SEOUL. Stationed in SEOUL for one month.
27 Aug 50 Arrived SINBAN-NI (新反里), 25 km W CH'ANGNYONG (昌寧).
30 Aug 50 87th Regt crossed NAKTONG River (洛東江).
23 Sep 50 Retreated back across NAKTONG River.
25 Sep 50 Approx 150 men remaining in Regt retreated N.
30 Sep 50 Approx 20 men surrendered to ROK troops at HOEIN (懷仁).
a. Original strength of the 87th Regt was approx 3,000.
b. Actual battle organization and strength same as above.
c. Last known composition of unit approx 150 men. About 50% had rifles, however, most of them had no ammunition.
d. Vehicles:

100 horse-carts
e. Personalities:
